Accelerated Reader (AR) for Students

Students can login to complete quizzes and check on their own progress using the link below. They will need the login information he or she uses at school to log into their chrome book using Clever.  Once logged into their Clever account students will have access to the Renaissance  (AR program) from the Clever dashboard.

  • K-2 students have a QR code to log into Clever.  A copy can be made have at home.(If you need a copy contact your teacher)
  • 3rd-5th grade students use an email and password that they have used all year to log into Clever. (Students should know their log-in, if they don't please contact their teacher)

Accelerated Reader for Parents

Home Connect allows you to view information about your students progress. It also allows you to sign up to receive email notifications about your students AR activity at school.

Logging In To Home Connect Through Clever:

  1. Open the link below in a web browser and proceed with the following instructions to    access your students progress. 
  2. In the Renaissance login area, select the Student/Teacher Clever Login button at  bottom and search for our school 7th Street Elementary if it asks.
  3. Select Log in with Google and enter your student's Google username and password. 
  4.  Select Log in. You should now see Renaissance Home Connect and your students   progress.

With the weather changing we wanted to send some reminders about what to expect when you send your child to school… or if we have a snow day.

Outdoor Recess = Snow Clothes:  

The students and staff look forward to going outside and getting some fresh air each day.  Unless it’s dumping snow, rain or under a certain degree we will go outside at recess.

Please send your child in weather appropriate gear.  That means coats, hats, gloves and snow boots on snowy days.  All of these clothing items are essential, but please send your kids in snow boots when there is even a dusting of snow.  If you know your child is prone to getting wet please send a change of clothes as well.   We want the kids to have a great time at recess but also be dry and ready to learn in the classroom.

Poor weather drop-off and pick-up:

If we determine our drop off and pick up lane is not safe due to snow pack and ice we will close the gate blocking the driveway and will take students from Main Street into the school. We will try to communicate with EZ - message as much as possible, but please be on the lookout for a change in traffic, especially on snowy, icy days.

Snow Day or Late Start procedures:

In the event of a school delay or cancellation, parents will be notified through school messenger to the contact we have on file.  Parents can also check the Dolores County Schools website at www.dc2j.org or KRTZ radio for school closings.  Every attempt will be made as soon as possible to notify parents if school has been delayed or canceled.  Delayed starts will begin at 9:50am, and all bus routes will be pushed back exactly two hours.

Lost & Found:

If you are missing your child's winter gear check the lost & found!  It’s very very full!!  We even have some items left over from last school year.
