Full-Time Custodian

Position Overview

The Custodian plays a key role in supporting a positive learning environment by ensuring classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained.

Schedule & Employment Details

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • 12-month position
  • May include evening, night, or weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain assigned school buildings and facilities
  • Assist maintenance staff with tasks as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and district guidelines
  • Maintain organized work areas
  • Support operations across multiple district locations when needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Custodial experience preferred (not required)
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must pass a background check
